The first WG meeting of 2010 took place in Brussels, on 10 and 11 February.
The following presentations have been made:
Julian Srodecki (BOND) presented the NGO effectiveness program of BOND, which should permit members organisations to improve their contributions to social development. The program consists of three areas of work: develop an NGO effectiveness framework; define which rewards effective development practice and outcomes and develop a management agenda and organizational culture.

Anne Garbutt (INTRAC) presented an analysis of policies from four European donors to support civil society.

Melanie Ossberger (Globale Verantwortung) presented the work of the Austrian National Platform and the activities programmed for this year to discuss CSO development effectiveness, in a context of changes in the bilateral Austrian Aid.

Heike Spielmans (VENRO) presented the NGO-IDEAS project, a project through which German NGOs have developed and are implementing tools to monitor and assess the impact of development interventions with their partners in participatory processes.

Rob van Hout (Fair Trade Labeling Organisations International) presented the strategy of Fairtrade to asses their impacts and contributions to sustainable development and described the methodologies used to measure it.
